Meet Boston! 💙 This sweet, affectionate boy is settling beautifully into pet life and is quickly showing just how much love he has to give. He adores people, actively seeks out pats and scratches, and is quite convinced he belongs in your lap!
Boston could happily suit either a house or apartment. He is confident around everyday noises, rides well in the car, has mastered stairs and is doing wonderfully with his toilet training. He sleeps through the night and has comfortably managed around seven hours during the day.
Boston is building up his alone time too. He may potter around for the first 10–15 minutes before settling, but has so far managed around an hour without issue. This can continue to be gradually extended in his new home.
He's a playful boy who loves fetch, squeaky toys and chasing balls. On walks, he generally walks nicely alongside his people and is curious about the world. Other dogs are very exciting at the moment, so he will benefit from calm, gradual introductions while he learns to contain some of that enthusiasm.
Boston has also been making fantastic progress with the resident cat. With slow introductions, he can now approach for a sniff and then move away, and is learning to stay relaxed even when the cat is on the move. We think he could live happily with a confident, dog-savvy cat with continued careful introductions.
Boston hasn't had extensive experience with children yet, but a recent meeting with a kindy-aged child resulted in the gentlest little kisses. A home where he has his own peaceful sleeping space and everyone understands when to give him some undisturbed snooze time will suit him best.
Most of all, Boston is a cuddly, people-loving sweetheart who has been friendly with everyone he's met. If you're looking for an affectionate, playful boy with plenty of love to give, Boston might just be your guy. 🥰

Adoption details
The adoption fee is $395 and includes desexing, C5 vaccination, muzzle and lifetime registration in NSW.
Once we found a potential match, the following will happen:
- Phone chat with one of the HBH coordinators
- Phone chat with the foster carer
- Meet and Greet with the foster carer and the dog
- Setting up your personal support group through FB messenger or Whatsapp with Foster Carer and HBH coordinators
- House visit (virtual or in person)
- Paperwork and Adoption fee to be returned to HBH
- Trial start (2 weeks)
- Final adoption!
