Lacey is a super sweet, gentle, and polite girl who is searching for a family that will help her continue to blossom. While she can be a little timid when meeting new people, she responds beautifully when given the time and space to approach on her own terms. Once she feels comfortable, Lacey quickly seeks out affection and enjoys spending time with those she trusts.

Lacey doesn't particularly enjoy being left alone and appreciates having company nearby, making her an ideal companion for a family who can include her in their daily lives so someone home a lot would be perfect for her. Despite her age, she is still a very active girl who enjoys getting out and about and making the most of each day.

Lacey would benefit from ongoing confidence building and general socialisation to help her continue developing into a well-rounded companion. She is eager to learn and responds well to positive experiences, making her a wonderful candidate for adopters who are willing to support her as she gains confidence in new situations.

When it comes to other dogs, Lacey prefers calm and respectful introductions. She is not a fan of dogs who are overly exuberant or rush into her space, and she thrives when given the opportunity to get to know new canine friends slowly. In her foster home, Lacey is doing exceptionally well and happily lives alongside both dogs and cats.
