About Jadore
Jadore is a female Persian mix available for adoption in Hollywell (Gold Coast, QLD).
Jadore is a devoted little shadow, the kind of cat who makes her presence known within minutes of you walking in the door. She wants to be wherever you are, doing whatever you're doing.
She loves a good scratch and a pat on her own terms, and has a real soft spot for a game of fetch with her favourite toy mouse. In the evenings, she has a habit of curling up close for a cuddle.
With new faces, Jadore likes to take stock first, watching quietly from a distance until she's ready. Give her a little space and some patience, and she'll come to you for a pat in her own time.
A little about Jadore:
🐾 Bounced back brilliantly from some recent dental work and is eating and thriving better than ever
🐾 A foodie through and through, with cheese and yoghurt topping her list of favourite treats
🐾 Loves to dig in soft sand, so a sandpit or garden bed will keep her happily occupied
🐾 Hasn't lived with children or other pets before, so shines brightest as the only animal in the house
🐾 Enjoys both indoor time and supervised time outdoors, with meals sometimes served up three times a day
Every day starts and ends with Jadore close by. She'll greet you at the door when you get home, then settle into whatever room you're in so she can keep half an eye on things.
She thrives on routine: breakfast, a stretch in a sunny spot, some supervised time outdoors, and dinner, sometimes with a second helping later on.
Jadore shows her affection in a quiet, constant way, hanging around you for most of the day and coming in for a scratch or cuddle whenever the mood strikes.
With people she knows well, she's endlessly curious and loves being part of whatever's happening. With newer faces, she prefers to watch first, and rewards a little patience with a proper cuddle once she's ready.
Jadore would flourish with an adult household that can offer her plenty of company and a calm, steady pace of life, where she can settle in as the only animal in the house.
Picture a quiet evening at home: Jadore stationed nearby, trotting over now and then for a scratch, then curling up next to you once the lights go down.
Jadore is ready for a home built around company, patience, and the occasional round of fetch. Enquire today to meet the cat who'll quietly become the centre of your household.

Medical notes
Jadore is in excellent health. As a young cat she needed to have all of her teeth removed due to a gum condition, and she now eats a soft or wet diet. She's healed well since, with no signs of ongoing pain, and eats readily and goes about her days like any other healthy cat.
Her complete patient history is on file and ready to share with her new guardian's veterinary team, so they have the full picture from day one.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
