About Daphine
Meet Daphine, a charming little lady bursting with cheeky quirkiness and lots of love to give. Even though she has a small stature, her personality is larger than life. While the big world outside can sometimes feel a tad overwhelming, Daphine is most content being at home surrounded by the familiar sounds and scents she loves.
Daphine finds joy in socializing from a safe distance, perhaps from the cozy confines of a stroller, where she can observe the world without feeling intimidated. She would be the perfect companion for a family well-versed in the quirks and nuances of Chihuahua care, as she thrives in an environment tailored to her needs. A quiet home where she can be the star of the show would suit her perfectly, with human company throughout the day as she prefers to be the sole pet.
When she's not playfully people-watching, Daphine adores nothing more than snuggling with her human companions, curling up on their lap, or burrowing into a soft, plush bed. If you work from home, you'll find her to be an excellent office mate, content to settle nearby, providing loving companionship throughout your day.
This sweet girl comes fully vaccinated, microchipped, and desexed, making her all ready to transition into her new family. If you're seeking a devoted, quirky, and utterly endearing friend who will bring warmth and character to your life, Daphine is ready to become your delightful new addition.

ADOPTION PROCESS:

What does this mean?
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal will then take place. You must bring advise Waggy Tails if you are bringing your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption.
3. You will need to provide details of your dogs full vaccination status prior to bringing to the Sanctuary.
4. Waggy Tails does not offer trial period for puppies under the age of 6 months who are adopted out. Please ensure you are ready to adopt now. Waggy Tails will do their best to ensure you and your new dog are a good match.
3. Mircrochip transfer takes place after 7 days. Please note this may take up to 4 weeks dependent on microchip paperwork. If for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to Waggy Tails the Adoption fee may be refunded minus an admin fee (Minimum $500).
5. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work UNTIL date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current at their cost from date of adoption.
