Loki

Loki is a gorgeous silver tabby boy, around 2 years old, with a silky coat, a goofy personality and a deep appreciation for chilling with his humans.

Loki showed up one day with a group of unowned cats in Allawah. When the lovely lady feeding and desexing these cats realised he was friendly, she decided he needed a home. We are only too happy to help. Loki is a total charmer!

Since coming into foster care, Loki has adjusted beautifully to indoor life. He loves hanging out with his carers and enjoys the finer things in life, like watching TV from the couch with his humans, sleeping on a bed, bird-watching from the balcony and enjoying safe, undisturbed naps.

He’s affectionate and loves being around people. Although he's not a lap cat (yet!), he loves to sit next to you. He simply wants to be where his humans are.

Loki is playful without being overly energetic. He enjoys a few hours of activity each day with laser toys, wand toys and whatever makeshift string toy his carers can come up with, but he is equally enthusiastic about settling down for a long nap afterwards.

And then there’s Loki’s personality. His carers describe him as a goofy boy, with his funny walk earning comparisons to Charlie Chaplin and his antics reminding his foster dad of Jerry Lewis. He loves being up high, whether that’s watching birds from the balcony or surveying the humans from the top of the entertainment unit.

He has also shown himself to be a gentle and patient boy. He has happily allowed his carer's 19-month-old granddaughter to pat him, and he takes new experiences in his stride.

Loki would likely be happiest as an only cat. He enjoys human company and likes having the attention to himself, and in his foster home he has shown a tendency to dominate the older resident cat. For this reason, we think a home where he can be the one and only feline would suit him best.

At night, Loki happily sleeps in his foster dad's bedroom and patiently waits to be let out in the morning. He doesn't cause havoc or destroy things — he's a pretty well-mannered housemate.

If you're looking for a friendly, funny and affectionate companion who will happily keep you company on the couch, watch TV with you, sleep nearby and occasionally entertain you with his ridiculous antics, Loki could be your boy.
