Honey

I may be shy at first, but give me a bit of time for me to gain your trust and I'll soon be headbutting your hand and requesting chin scratches. My favourite is when humans are on the couch and I can encourage these affectations. Also I am fond of firm back stratches and have been told I have a strong purr engine.

Food is one of my favourite things and I get super chatty when I'm hungry. Also, one thing you will notice, when I get excited such as at dinner time, my tail does a little excited quiver.

For most of my life I have been a solo cat and I prefer the company of humans to other felines. I tend to tolerate them being in the house with me but I keep my distance and don't really want to play. I am very good at entertaining myself by sleeping all day then requesting food and attention at night. I would be best suited as a single cat household or one with other cats that like their alone time.

Loud noises are a bit scary or too many new people, so I would prefer a quieter house. And I am not too fond of change so please be patient with me as I adapt.
