About Cash
Cash is a chilled boy. After a few weeks in foster care he is very relaxed in his home. He has gotten used all these strange new things including the noise of the vacuum cleaner, dishwasher and TV. He enjoys his routine and happy to watch your daily activities from his comfy bed. Cash is happy to snooze for much of the day but may pay you a visit if he thinks you have been on your laptop too long and may need a cuddle and pat break.
Cash also appreciates some play with his humans, chasing toys and having zoomies in the house or yard. Cash likes to know what’s going on but not too clingy. He is happy to stay downstairs when his foster parents go upstairs to work or turn in for the night. He hasn’t bothered to learn to do stairs, happy to spend the night by himself downstairs.
Cash is also happy to spend a few hours alone while his foster carers are out of the house working. He will bounce with delight when you get home though.
Cash does enjoy his walks but happy with 20 to 30 minutes. He walks well on lead but appreciates a quieter area to walk. Not a fan of noisy trucks or cyclists whooshing by. Cash is a little indifferent to dogs he meets on his walks. Happy for a quick sniff and then move on.
Cash love car travel. He will settle on the back seat and is napping within five minutes. He still needs a little help jumping in. This is a work in progress.
Cash is an easy gentle boy, handsome with his lush blue coat, white highlights and quirky forward pointing ears. He will be a cherished member of any lucky family.
He is currently happy as an only dog but can also enjoy the company of another suitable canine companion

We’d love to help you find your greyhound match!
To get started, we’ll ask for a bit of information about your home and lifestyle on our application form. This helps us make sure we match you with a dog that suits your household and sets both of you up for success.
Many greyhounds come from racing kennels where they’re used to having other dogs around. Some can struggle being left completely alone, which can lead to signs of separation anxiety like barking or chewing.
Because of this, we usually look to rehome greyhounds into homes where they’ll have company - either human or canine - and not be left alone for more than four hours on a regular basis. If that’s not your setup right now, don’t worry as we’re happy to chat about options such as dog walkers, doggy daycare, or taking your greyhound to work.
Our Adoption Checklist:
To be considered for adoption, we ask that you have:
A secure, fully fenced yard (minimum height around hip height)
A home where the dog is allowed to sleep inside at night
A routine that doesn’t leave the dog home alone regularly for long periods (more than 4 hours) without people or another dog for company
