Meet Bear, a young and energetic dog with a heart of gold who is looking for a home that can match his enthusiasm.

Bear is sweet, affectionate, and people-loving. He is quite smart and incredibly food motivated, making him a great candidate for positive reinforcement training. He loves his daily outings and has so much potential with the right guidance and consistency behind him. He can get a little excited during interactions, but settles quickly and is easy to work with.

Bear loves a good cuddle and will lean right in when he gets the chance. He is also great with handling and will let you know in his own gentle way when he has had enough, stepping back and shaking off before deciding if he wants to come back for more.

He will do best in a home without children under 12, as his excitement can get the better of him and he may accidentally jump up during play. Access to a yard, even a small one, will also be a real bonus for him.

Bear seems friendly with other dogs and will do well in a home with a confident, social canine companion. A home with an experienced dog owner who understands dog body language will set him up well.
