About Millie 🧡
Millie came into care at just three weeks old, orphaned alongside her siblings Monty and Marjolein. She was always the runt of the litter, noticeably smaller than her brother and sister, and while they've now headed off to their forever homes, little Millie needed some extra time to grow. Now it’s finally her turn.
She is a tiny princess who firmly believes the best place in the world is in someone's arms. Millie loves being held, snuggling into your chest and falling asleep listening to your heartbeat. She'll happily join in for a play and a bit of kitten mischief, but she was always the first of her siblings to decide she'd had enough and retire to her human for a cuddle. She's a mummy's girl through and through.
Being a true little ginger, there doesn't always appear to be an enormous amount going on behind those eyes. Her main thought at any given moment seems to be: “Why aren't you holding me?”
Growing up Millie never seemed to develop a meow. Her foster carer started calling her Ariel/Little Mermaid, because she had no voice. She has since found it, although every now and then she'll still open her mouth and dramatically scream silently at you for her dinner.
Now that Monty and Marjolein have been adopted, Millie is missing the closeness and companionship she has always known. She would love a home with a gentle, affectionate resident cat who will be happy to snuggle with their new little sister while still indulging her in the occasional play session.
Millie may have been the smallest of her siblings, but she has an enormous amount of love to give. If you have room in your home for a tiny ginger princess who just wants to be your baby, Millie is waiting for you. 🧡

Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
