Delilah

Meet Delilah, a sweet and soft-hearted Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is ready to find her people.

Delilah is a gentle girl who is still finding her confidence in the world. She can be a little unsure in new situations and around new people, but she warms up quickly with patience and reassurance, and once she feels safe she is affectionate, playful, and an absolute joy to be around.

Delilah is food motivated and will do well with positive reinforcement training. The focus to begin with will be on building her confidence and encouraging her to make safe, comfortable choices at her own pace. A home that allows her the space to remove herself when she needs a moment will help her feel secure and settled.

She loves chasing toys and has a lot of fun in her once she relaxes into play. Loud or busy environments can be a bit much for her, so a calm home where she has areas to decompress will make a real difference. Access to a yard will also be a bonus.

Delilah is quite social with dogs and happy to be placed with a canine companion, ideally one who is a similar size and won’t bowl her over during play. She will do best in a home without children under 12.
