About Snoop
Hello there! I’m Snoop, and I’m officially accepting applications for my forever family.
APPLICATION PROCESS APPLIES FOR SNOOP
PLEASE COMPLETE THE BELOW APPLICATION FORM

My Ideal Home:
• Previous experience with my breed is essential.
• I’ll need daily exercise — walks, park or beach trips, and playtime in the backyard will keep me happy and healthy.
• Ongoing training and guidance with basic manners will help me grow into a well-behaved companion.
• Because I can be shy in new situations, a home without little ones who may accidentally startle me would suit me best.
• I want to be part of the family indoors — not left outside without interaction.
• Secure fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent) is essential to keep me safe.
• I’d love plenty of toys and mental enrichment to keep my busy mind occupied.
• A good-quality dry food diet will help support my dental health.
• Regular grooming and brushing will keep me looking and feeling my best.
• Most importantly, I’m looking for lots of love and attention from my family.
• I’d love a friendly dog playmate — or, if I’m your only dog, regular opportunities to socialise with other dogs.
• With a slow and thoughtful introduction, I may be able to live with a cat.
• Due to my breed, I can be quite vocal. I like to howl and talk back to you, a family used to this and/or accepting of this is essential.
My Paw-some Perks:
• I absolutely LOVE water and would be thrilled to have my own clam pool to splash and relax in.
• I’m a very playful, happy pup when I’m excited once I’m settled into a home. I was a little unsure when first arriving at the shelter but now I’m a ball of energy.
• I really like my toys — especially squeaky/soft toys!
• I’m exuberant and full of beans, always ready for fun and adventure.
• I’m clever, enthusiastic, and would thrive with a family who’ll continue my training and maybe even teach me some cool new tricks.
Training:
• Once I’m settled, I can walk nicely, but I may pull if something grabs my attention or if I decide I’d like to head in a different direction. I can also be strong or a bit skittish if startled, so a harness or head halter would really help while I continue my training.
• My recall needs work, as I can sometimes ignore you if I’m distracted — this is something we’ll need to practice together.
Please Note: You’ll only be able to meet Snoop if your application is approved. Successful applicants will be invited to the shelter for a meet-and-greet, and any dogs currently in the home must attend as well
