🌸🐾 Meet Autumn — A Little Flower Waiting to Bloom 🐾🌸
Sweet little Autumn may be a little unsure when you first meet her, but don’t let her cautious beginnings fool you — there’s a playful, curious and incredibly sweet girl hiding underneath. 💕 She’s still learning that people can be pretty wonderful, and with every new experience, she’s becoming a little braver.
And if there’s one thing that can help Autumn come out of her shell, it’s FOOD! 🍗😻 This girl is absolutely food-motivated, and tasty treats are definitely the way to her heart. They’ve been helping her discover that humans might just be okay after all, and watching her confidence grow is incredibly rewarding. 🥹💗
As she settles in, Autumn’s playful personality starts to shine. ✨ She loves exploring her surroundings, having a little fun and getting involved in whatever is happening around her. But perhaps one of the most important things in Autumn’s world is her love for other cats. 🐱💕 She absolutely adores feline company and seems to gain so much confidence and comfort from having kitty friends around.
Autumn isn’t looking for a family who expects her to be confident from day one. She needs someone who understands that trust takes time and is happy to let her set the pace. 🌷 She might not be the girl who races over to greet you straight away, but when she chooses to come closer, accepts a treat from your hand or lets you into her little world, those moments are incredibly special.
With patience, kindness, love and, of course, a plentiful supply of treats, we have no doubt this beautiful girl will continue to blossom. 🌸🥰

Our adoptable cats are indoor-only to keep them safe, healthy and happy. We ask all adopters to provide a secure indoor home where their new companion can thrive.
For all cats under 12 months old, Rocky Roads Rescue has a strict, no single kittens adoption policy. Solo adoptions will only be permitted if specified in the cat's profile.

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

~The Adoption Process~
⦿ Adoption enquiry comes through
⦿ One of the RR team will reach out to discuss the adoption process with you - we are volunteers, please allow time for us to reach out to you!
⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
