About Dorito
Meet Dorito, a sweet and friendly boy who has come a long way since arriving in our care. With limited experience of the wider world, Dorito is still learning and will need a patient family who can help him build his confidence through gentle, positive experiences.
Dorito is very food motivated and enjoys play, making him a great candidate for ongoing training and enrichment. He also enjoys the company of other dogs and has shown lovely social behaviour during play sessions and would ideally love to go home with a suitably matched canine companion to help build his confidence.
Dorito will thrive in a calm home with a secure yard and indoor access. He will need gradual introductions to new people and environments, ongoing positive-reinforcement training and plenty of patience as he continues to develop his life skills. If Dorito sounds like the dog for you, come in and meet him today!
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
