About Flake
Meet Flake! Are you looking for a new best friend with an adventurous spirit who also loves cuddles? It’s time to close the apps because we have the kitty for you! Flake is a beautiful kitten who loves to explore. He can often be found checking out the contents of your wardrobe, chasing a toy, or hiding under the couch, ready to launch a surprise pounce on your toes as you walk by.
But don’t let this playful attitude for you! Flake is also so ready for cuddles when it's time to hit the hay at night. When he wakes in the morning, his favourite thing to do is curl up on his human’s lap and make biscuits.
And have we mentioned those eyes? Total dreamboat material.
Flake has been fostered across two houses with young children, and is so relaxed around them. He has also been fostered with a boisterous cavoodle, and while he doesn’t particularly want to be the dog’s best friend, he tolerates him well enough. But make no mistake – Flake expects to be the king of the castle. Flake will need to remain indoors to keep him safe from outdoor dangers. Adoption details
- You contact us to obtain an adoption application and discuss the animal of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability. We will also ask for rental agreements or rates and photos of your home. Please also include photos of your fencing .
- A meet and greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and current dogs are arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a yard check, to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - we understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
- Payment of the adoption fee is made in one full payment. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records. Please note we do have contracts in place that must be signed.
- Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted to council and the adoption is officially finalised.
- For interstate adoptions- The adoptor must have a meet and greet with the animal they are adopting. We will not send an animal over without a meet. All transport costs including flights, will need to be paid in full by the adoptor.
- For cats, all adoptions take place at PETstock Tuggerah unless the profile states otherwise.
