About Trixie
Meet Trixie the Pixie our little bundle of fun with a HUGE heart! Trixie is an affectionate, playful girl who loves nothing more than being with her people. In fact, if there is a lap available, Trixie would like to know why she isn't already sitting on it!
Trixie is a wonderful walking and running buddy and walks beautifully on lead, rarely pulling. She'd happily join you for as many adventures as you're prepared to offer, then come home and happily snuggle up with you afterwards. She loves cuddles, belly rubs and being close to her humans.
When you're out, Trixie is quite happy to snooze. She can be left alone for a full working day and, while she may collect your shoes and other interesting household treasures, she doesn't destroy them, apparently she's just building a very strange little collection! She's house trained, travels well in the car and LOVES water.
Trixie can be a little shy and unsure when meeting new people, but once she realises you're okay, she warms up quickly. Her new family will need to continue helping her build confidence through gentle socialisation and positive experiences.
She is generally very playful with other dogs and loves a good chase and play session. She has done particularly well with a similar-sized female dog, so a friendly, medium-sized canine companion could be a possibility.
Trixie is looking for a family who understands that behind her fun and affectionate personality is a girl who needs patience, consistency and a safe, predictable home. A dog owner who is happy to keep working on her confidence and socialisation would be ideal.
So if you're looking for a loyal little shadow who wants to walk with you, play with you, cuddle you and generally be involved in EVERYTHING you do…
Trixie the Pixie might just be your girl!
