Hi, I’m Máire (MOY-ra), a beautiful, gentle girl with a quiet nature.

Nature
I’ve come such a long way since arriving in foster care, and while I’m still timid when meeting new people, my confidence has grown tremendously and it’s been wonderful to blossom. I now enjoy being gently petted and have even started letting my foster carer know when I’m hungry with my own sweet little reminders.

I absolutely love the company of my siblings and would thrive in a home with another friendly cat to help me continue building my confidence. I’ve also been watching the adult resident cats in foster care and learning from them that humans are safe and can be trusted. One of my sweetest traits is the trust I’ve developed, happily interacting with people I know and accepting affection on my terms.

When I venture out of my safe Caboodle, I love playing with toys and chasing my siblings around. As I grow more comfortable, my playful side is becoming increasingly apparent.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I absolutely love the company of other cats and would thrive in a home with another friendly cat. Having a confident feline friend would help me continue to build my confidence and learn that the world is a safe place.

I’ve been watching the adult resident cats in foster care and learning from them that humans are safe and can be trusted.

I would be best suited to a home with older children, as I’m not comfortable being picked up and prefer to interact at my own pace and on my own terms.

Since being in foster care, I’ve become much more comfortable with the sounds of a busy home and am learning that noises like the vacuum cleaner, a barking dog, and even the morning smoothie machine aren’t anything to worry about.

My PURR-fect home would be a patient, loving home with another friendly cat to help me continue building my confidence. I’d be best suited to older children who understand that I need time, patience and the freedom to interact on my own terms. With patience, love and understanding, I’ll continue to flourish and become the wonderful, loving companion I’m sure I can be.
