🐾💙 MEET OUR BEAUTIFUL WEMBLEY 💙🐾

Approx. 11kg

✨ A little shy at first… but give him a little love, patience and understanding, and watch the real Wembley shine!✨

Wembley didn’t have the best start to life, and sometimes that means he can be a little timid or unsure. But it doesn’t take him long to realise he’s safe. Once he does, his happy, playful personality comes bouncing right back! 🥰

Once comfortable in his home, this gorgeous boy is all about fun, cuddles and being with his people. He loves to play, follow you around for gentle pats and snuggles, and then settle down for a well-earned nap — preferably flat on his back with all four paws in the air! 😂🐾

And children? Wembley loves the extra attention they bring when he has met them outside of the home. A home with gentle and kind children over the age of 8 would be considered❤️

Wembley is currently enjoying life with four other dogs, including three seniors under 5kg. He loves his little pack, but sometimes gets carried away during play and forgets he isn't actually a Chihuahua! 😂

For this reason, Wembley must have another friendly, confident and well-adjusted canine companion of a similar size or slightly larger who can show him the ropes and be his best friend. He absolutely loved spending time with his carer's daughter's Kelpie. 🐕💙

🐾 Another friendly, well-adjusted robust dog around his size or larger
🐾 A secure yard where he can run and play with his new bestie
🐾 Inside access at all times — Wembley is very much an inside boy!
🐾 Couch cuddles are a MUST 🛋️❤️
🐾 A bed in someone's bedroom at night (and he wouldn't object to sharing your bed either!)
🐾 A family who can provide daily walks, outings and car adventures
🐾 A calm, patient and loving environment
🐾 Continued training using positive, reward-based methods only

🎓 Wembley is a clever little guy!

He learns quickly and is always eager to please. If he's unsure what you're asking, his solution is often to simply sit and wait for further instructions!🥹

He can now:
✔️ Sit
✔️ Wait
✔️ Walk nicely beside you on lead
✔️ Return when called at the off-lead park — even when busy making new doggy friends!
✔️ Sit beautifully to have his harness put on
✔️ Get out of the car
✔️ Travel happily in the car 🚗🐾

He's still working on getting into the car, but at 11kg he's currently quite happy to accept a helping hand! 😂

Wembley does become overwhelmed if voices are raised, so he needs someone who understands that kindness, patience and encouragement are the way to his heart. He has absolutely no mean bone in his body. ❤️

He's also a non-shedder, so there's very little mess from Wembley himself — although his inner adolescent occasionally comes out when he decides a toy needs completely dismantling or his blankie needs redecorating somewhere else in the room! 😆

🌅 Wembley is an early riser — around 6am — and may gently place his face very close to yours to let you know that it's time to wake up! 😂 If you're not quite ready, he'll happily entertain himself with his toys until you are.

But underneath all the fun, there is something very special about this boy.

Those beautiful, vulnerable eyes can still be unsure sometimes… but they're also quietly asking you to love him.
