About Lila, the greyhound
If you are interested in Lila, or any of our Greyhounds, we require you to fill in our application form: https://forms.gle/4YdfUixpmWdJ4StT9
Meet lovely Lila, a people-loving girl with the perfect mix of calm companion and playful character. ❤️ If there’s a spot beside you, that’s exactly where Lila would like to be. She adores human company and has a fantastic personality that makes her a wonderful presence around the home.
One of Lila’s big ticks is how well she handles her alone time. She is regularly left home by herself for around eight hours during the workday and manages beautifully, without being destructive. She is also fully toilet trained and can comfortably hold on throughout the workday and overnight.
Lila could happily live in either a house or apartment. She is currently fostered as a solo dog and is very comfortable being the only hound in the home. She has spent time around other greyhounds and a whippet, although she tends to prefer her own space rather than joining in with their antics. She could share her forever home with another dog, but a calm, easygoing companion would likely suit her better than an energetic playmate.
She’s also great with kids, making her a lovely option for a family home. While Lila has a wonderfully calm side, she certainly isn’t short on personality! When she’s excited, everyone knows about it. She’s quite the vocal girl and will happily chatter away, especially when something has caught her enthusiasm.
At heart, Lila is a people dog. She wants to be close to her humans, sharing everyday life and making sure you always have a beautiful greyhound nearby. With her combination of independence, affection, calmness and playful charm, Lila has so much to offer her future family. 💕
At Homeward Bound Hounds, we pride ourselves on matching the right dog to the right family. We need to know more about you and your home to find the best possible match.
