Roxy is approximately 8 months old and the perfect mix of affectionate, independent and full of personality. Appearance-wise, sheâs half cat, half feather duster thanks to that gloriously fluffy tail. đ
This gorgeous girl appeared on the street beside her foster carerâs home, quite literally asking for love. She wasnât microchipped or recognised by local colony carers, and despite searching online, we couldnât find anyone looking for her. So Roxy came inside â and her new chapter began. đ
She has now been desexed, microchipped and tested negative for FIP.
â¤ď¸ ROXYâS PERSONALITY
Once comfortable, Roxy is incredibly affectionate. She loves lap cuddles, making biscuits, and knowing her human is nearby, but she also has a wonderfully independent streak.
After surviving outside, feeling safe is important to her. She LOVES cosy enclosed spaces and will retreat somewhere comfy for a little reset if overwhelmed.
Roxy can sometimes get overstimulated by lots of attention and may give a nip to say, âThatâs enough!â Her foster carers are helping her learn calmer ways to communicate and sheâs doing well.
We think sheâd suit a calm home with adults or older, cat-savvy children who understand when she needs space. A home without dogs would likely suit her best.
đą OTHER CATS?
Roxy is fostered alongside six rescue cats, but introductions havenât been attempted yet. Another cat may be possible with slow introductions â or she may enjoy being the centre of attention!

At Furever After Rescue Incorporated, our mission is to find Furever Loving Homes for every pet we rescue. We ensure a perfect match by placing our cats in suitable indoor environments, either strictly indoors or indoors with a secure outdoor enclosure. This protects both your cat, and the local wildlife.
Our thorough adoption process includes:
Adoption form: Provides us with essential information about your lifestyle and suitability for cat ownership.
Phone interview: Allows us to discuss your expectations and answer any questions you may have.
Video or physical house inspection: Ensures your home provides a safe and comfortable environment for the cat.
Adoption fee: Helps cover the costs of veterinary care for our rescued animals.
2-week trial period: Gives you and the cat time to adjust and bond before finalizing the adoption.
As of July 2021, the adoption of desexed animals from a registered rehoming organization like Furever After Rescue Incorporated means you'll receive free lifetime registration for your new pet. Furever After Rescue Incorporated is a designated registered pet rescue organization with the Office of Local Government, complying with section 88B of the Companion Animals Act 1998.
All our cats come microchipped, desexed, minimum 1st vaccination (depending on age), flea-treated, wormed and with a free NSW Lifetime Registration.
As a token of our appreciation for adopting through Furever After Rescue Inc., we offer Royal Canin (40% off) discount vouchers redeemable at participating stores and online.
We also offer ongoing access to our community discounted products (Royal Canin food and various types of litter)!.
There's no obligation to purchase, but it's a great way to start your new furry friend off on the right paw.

1. Returns & Refund Policy
First 2 Weeks: No refunds are given for cats returned during the 2-week trial period to ensure they are given sufficient time to adjust.
Up to 1 Month: A $50 admin fee applies to any approved refunds requested between the end of the 2-week trial and the end of the first month of adoption.
Future Surrenders: No refunds are available after the first month, and a surrender fee may apply if the cat is returned to our care in the future.
2. Application Outcomes We aim to review and respond to applications within 1â3 days. Due to high volume, we can only contact successful applicants. If you havenât heard from us within this timeframe, your application has not been successful this time. No further action is required on your part, and we truly appreciate your support.
