About Scooter
Meet Scooter 🐾
Scooter is a sweet, quiet little girl who likes to take life at her own pace.
She’s quite independent and can be a little unsure in new situations, so she’ll need some time and patience while she settles into her new home. Once Scooter feels safe and comfortable, her affectionate side starts to shine through and she enjoys cuddles, pats and spending time with her people.
Scooter is comfortable around other cats and dogs and would be best suited to a home with children aged 5+. Very young or particularly boisterous children may be a little overwhelming for her, so a home where she can have her own quiet space when she needs it would be ideal.
She is currently eating Royal Canin Kitten dry food and mousse.
Scooter isn’t the kind of kitten who will necessarily march into a new home and immediately take over the couch. She needs a little time to figure out that she’s safe — but give her that patience, and you’ll get to know the lovely, gentle little girl underneath.
For someone happy to let a kitten build trust in her own time, Scooter will make a beautiful little companion. ❤️
Medical notes
Scooter can also have some recurring trouble with her eyes and may occasionally need eye drops to keep them comfortable. This isn’t uncommon for her and is something her new family should be prepared to manage if needed.
Adoption details
*Please only apply if you reside 4hrs from Shepparton
* You will have a list of questions sent that you need to answer and send back.
* (For dog applications) Photos are requested of your yard, the fencing and any undercover shelter areas (patio/pergola) that must be sent through along with answers to questions.
* It’s not first in best dressed and we pride ourselves in finding the perfect family home for the animals in our care and make sure each family finds the perfect animal as well.
* We feed our cats on Lifewise, bags are available to buy from us.
* We also offer a 2 week trial on all animals that are adopted from this rescue organisation, if returned during this time a refund less 10% is given.
* Meet and greets are always taken prior to adoption, on the day if all goes well and you are happy, you can adopt on the spot and take your animal home to begin the next chapter together. We don't offer more than 1 meet and greet.
*All animals listed on our petrescue page are available for adoption until the moment they are removed

The site is ran by volunteers who also have work commitments and families of their own.
