Meet Nacho! 🐾❤️

Smart, affectionate, playful and seriously handsome!

Nacho is one of those dogs who has so much potential in the right home. He’s incredibly clever, eager to learn and genuinely loves being involved in whatever his people are doing.

And this boy absolutely LOVES to play!

Nacho is always up for a game. Whether it’s toys, squeaky things, playing with other dogs or simply having fun with his people, he’s enthusiastic, entertaining and full of personality.

Nacho enjoys the company of other dogs and has even been attending doggy daycare, where he’s had opportunities to socialise, play and develop his skills around other dogs.

But underneath all that enthusiasm is a genuinely lovely boy. Nacho is kind, gentle and affectionate, and absolutely loves getting pats and attention from his people.

He’s also a very smart cookie! 🧠

Nacho picks things up quickly and responds well when someone takes the time to work with him. He can pull a little on the lead when he’s excited, but he’s responsive and eager to learn.

One of the things we’ve been working on with Nacho is teaching him how to be calm and settle.

And he’s doing it!

Nacho has learned that life doesn’t always have to be exciting. He’s now able to switch off, relax and enjoy some downtime. It’s a wonderful skill for an enthusiastic dog, and one we’d love his new family to continue encouraging.

And he’s already got some great life skills!

🐾 Fully crate trained and comfortable spending time in his crate.

🚗 Travels well in the car, making him a great companion for outings and adventures.

🐕 Dog social – enjoys playing with other dogs and has attended doggy daycare.

🏡 Can settle in a dog pen after he’s had appropriate exercise, playtime and mental stimulation.

🧠 Smart and responsive – picks things up quickly and enjoys learning.

😴 Knows how to switch off – he’s made great progress and can now settle and relax.

And then there are the looks! 😍

Nacho has a gorgeous, dingo-like appearance, and whatever else is hiding in his family tree, it was clearly something pretty. He’s a seriously handsome boy!

🏡 What kind of home would suit Nacho?

More than anything, Nacho needs someone who wants to make him part of their everyday life.

He’s not the sort of dog who will be satisfied with a big backyard and very little interaction. Nacho is clever, active and playful, and needs someone who will spend time with him, give him things to do and enjoy having him around.

If his new family is going to be away from home regularly, we’d prefer to see Nacho living with a friendly, older or calmer dog for company.

While Nacho enjoys playing with other dogs, he doesn’t need a constant playmate. A calm, settled canine companion could be a wonderful influence and provide companionship during the quieter parts of the day.

Nacho would thrive with someone who understands that a clever dog needs both physical exercise and mental stimulation, along with opportunities to rest and relax.

He doesn’t need to be entertained every minute of the day. He’s already made wonderful progress in learning the balance between having fun and switching off, and we’d love his new family to continue building on that.

For Nacho, it’s not about how much space you have. It’s about how much of your life you’re willing to share with him. ❤️
