Meet Nacho 🎾
If Nacho could write his own adoption profile, it would probably just say:
BALL. BALL. BALL. BALL. BALL.
Nacho is quite possibly the reigning Fetch Champion of the North. Throw it, he’ll chase it. Bring it back? Absolutely. Drop it so you can throw it again? You bet. This boy understands the assignment.
Balls are his greatest love, but squeaky toys and pretty much anything else he can play with come in a very close second. Nacho is incredibly playful, fun-loving and always ready for a game. Once a ball appears, however, the rest of the world may as well cease to exist.
Underneath all that enthusiasm is a genuinely lovely boy. Nacho is kind, gentle and affectionate and absolutely loves getting pats from his people.
He’s also very smart and picks things up quickly. He can pull a little on lead when he gets excited, but he’s responsive and eager to learn, so with some consistency we think his lead manners will continue to improve beautifully.
And then there are the looks! Nacho has a gorgeous, dingo-like appearance and whatever else is hiding in his family tree, it was clearly something pretty. He’s a seriously handsome boy.
We’d love to see Nacho with someone who enjoys having an active, playful dog involved in their everyday life. We’re also keen to see how he takes to being a ute companion — because a clever boy who loves being included in everything could be pretty happy riding shotgun with his person.

Adoption details
*Please only apply if you reside 4hrs from Shepparton
* You will have a list of questions sent that you need to answer and send back.
* (For dog applications) Photos are requested of your yard, the fencing and any undercover shelter areas (patio/pergola) that must be sent through along with answers to questions.
* It’s not first in best dressed and we pride ourselves in finding the perfect family home for the animals in our care and make sure each family finds the perfect animal as well.
* We feed our cats on Lifewise, bags are available to buy from us.
* We also offer a 2 week trial on all animals that are adopted from this rescue organisation, if returned during this time a refund less 10% is given.
* Meet and greets are always taken prior to adoption, on the day if all goes well and you are happy, you can adopt on the spot and take your animal home to begin the next chapter together. We don't offer more than 1 meet and greet.
*All animals listed on our petrescue page are available for adoption until the moment they are removed
