Hello hoomans, I’m Minato, a beautiful little Japanese boy whose name means “harbour, safe place and shelter”. I think that is exactly what I’m looking for now — a safe and loving place to call my forever home.

Nature
I came into care with my brother when we were only a few days old and had to be hand-fed. Because of this, we quickly learned that hoomans are our mums, and I absolutely adore them!

I’m a wonderfully outgoing, confident and affectionate little boy. I love people and am always happy to be picked up, cuddled and showered with attention. I’m also a real lap smooch — if there’s a lap available, I’m very likely to find it!

I’m just as happy playing as I am cuddling. I love racing around with my furry friends, chasing balls, climbing cat trees and getting involved in whatever fun is happening around me. I’m a very social little guy and thrive on having company.

After a busy day of playing, exploring and collecting cuddles, I’m very good at settling down for a nice long sleep to recharge my batteries… because when I wake up, I’ll be ready to start it all over again!

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I currently live with my brother, two other young kittens who are just a few weeks older than us, an older kitten and four adult cats. I get along beautifully with everyone and love having so many furry friends to play with.

I’m also living with a medium-sized dog, so I’m familiar with having a dog around. With a gentle, slow and supervised introduction, I think I could happily share my home with a cat-friendly dog.

I would also be very happy in a family with young, gentle children who understand that kittens need kindness, patience and plenty of playtime.

Honestly, I’m pretty easy-going, so there isn’t much that seems to bother me!

My PURR-fect home should be pretty easy because I’m such an easy-going, affectionate and social little boy. I could fit beautifully into a busy family home with young, gentle children, or equally happily into a quieter household where I can have lots of love and attention. What matters most to me is not being alone for long periods. I love having someone around to cuddle, play with and keep me company.
