About ⛈️Storm⛈️
Storm has settled into her foster home so well but what she really wants is a home of her own. This means no other pets, no exceptions! She wants to be able to snuggle in bed and get head scritches whenever she wants and having to navigate other animals is not on her to do list.
Storm loves to chat and will meow for just about any reason. Snack? Meow Pats? Meow You walked nearby? Meow just in case. She has a beautiful gentle purr that she uses to reward you when you’ve successfully scratched the right spot on her head. She also loves to play ‘thing on a stick’ so while she isn’t a kitten anymore she is still active and able to keep up with you around the house.
She has really enjoyed her two human foster home but she may consider respectful children 12 years and older to share her new home with too. She is independent enough to do her own thing while you’re at work but she does love company so a family where someone works from home would also suit her. Storm loves to look out the window and will need an indoor only home or one where she can have safe access outdoors through a cat enclosure, tall fences are not enough to keep her safe.
Storm is a Scottish Fold which means that she needs a home who understands the unique care that folds need to stay healthy and happy. Storm is predisposed to joint pain which means that as she ages she will need medical intervention to ensure that she is as healthy and pain-free as possible. This means:
- Possible monthly injections when she is older
- Supplements like Antinol or 4cyte daily
- Regular nail clipping (their nails become overgrown easily)
- Discouraging her from jumping from tall places
While in our care Storm has had an infected tooth removed as well as a scale and polish to get her teeth in tip top shape.
She is desexed, microchipped and up to date with her vaccinations and parasite treatments. Storm is in care in Ferntree Gully and is looking for Victorian based applicants.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
