AFFECTIONATE BOY!
- Hi, I'm Dusty! A very chilled, relaxed, easy going, gentle, affectionate, sweet and loving boy.
- I came into the care of SAFE Busselton after my elderly owners went into aged care.
- Although I was a little shy and confused when I arrived at my foster home, I quickly began to feel confident and showed my loving personality!
- I am friendly with visitors to my foster home. I love to stay close to my foster family throughout the day. Lots of pats are my favourite! I stay close to them during the day and at night I love sleeping next to my foster Mum. You will wake up with me in the bed waiting patiently for my breakfast!
- I used to like going under the doona during the day to sleep, but now I like to explore and find different areas around the house and find new napping spots!
- If I see my foster family chilling on the couch, I hop onto their laps to enjoy a comfy sleep!
- I recently had a full dental clean and now have a nice white smile.
- I am litter trained and am not a fussy eater.
- My ideal home is one that is quieter, with no other animals or small children.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit.
The adoption fee of $275 includes desexing, vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership), flea and worm treatment and vet check.
SAFE Busselton requests that all persons adopting a cat adhere to responsible containment practices. As per the current Cat Laws in WA we encourage people to keep their rescued cat as a permanent indoor cat or with access to a safe cat run. It is no longer desirable to allow your cat to wander onto adjoining properties. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. We ask that owners be responsible and keep their adopted cat safe at all times so that you will have a long and loving life together. Information on cat enclosures can be found here: https://safe.org.au/catios
SAFE Busselton reserves the right to select adoptive homes based on “best fit” for the pet. Although all applications will be considered, being the first application will not necessarily provide an advantage as the adoption committee considers many factors when matching animals to their new home.
