🖌️🎨 MEET PICASSO 🎨🖌️
Hi, I’m Picasso! I came into care terrified of humans, and I’ve come such a long way. I’m still cautious and may give a little hiss if I’m startled or don’t realise you’re approaching — mostly me putting on a brave front.

Nature
I’m not quite ready to be touched yet, but I’ve found my own beautiful way of showing affection. Sit quietly with me and I’ll give you those lovely slow blinks — my way of showing that I feel safe with you.

These days, I’ll even meet you at the door when I know dinner is coming, which is enormous progress for a boy who was once so frightened of people.

I’m comfortable around other cats and enjoy being part of the household while still having my own space.

My PURR-fect home would be a quiet, patient home with someone who understands that trust doesn’t always begin with touch. For me, affection might be sitting nearby, sharing a warm room and exchanging slow blinks from across the couch. Given time and absolutely no pressure, who knows what my next milestone might be. I’ve already come such a long way.

*Picasso’s adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment.

Medical Notes: Picasso was exposed to Ringworm, which is a common fungal infection. He did not show symptoms and was given the all clear by the vet.

Picasso has Gingivitis, which is inflammation of the gums. This condition may require treatment on and off throughout his life. Picasso will need his teeth checked at his annual vaccination. He may need treatment in between these times (of steroids and/or antibiotics) if the condition worsens. He may need teeth extracted in the future.
