About Bruce
Meet Bruce!
A very well-tempered Rottie-Ridgeback mix, who is eager to learn, an amazing companion for adults and older kids, who loves running and playing with bouncing balls! It has taken him an average of five repetitions to learn a command, and he is already well underway to master Sit, Here, Step, No (let something go), Walk, road crossings (sit and walk) and Crate.
He is fine living with cats, so long as there is some space for both animals to retreat to, and younger children (currently fostering with a four and a two year old)
His favourite hobbies are lying in the sun, eating and snoozing :D he’s always up for cuddling but he is still a puppy, so plenty of chewable toys and supervision are key. If it’s on the floor, it’s fair game!
Medical notes
Bruce came into the shelter with an aural haematoma (blood filled swelling that forms in the ear flap)
He has since been traeted for this and doing much better.
This shouldn't cause long term issues but will need to be monitored while healing
Adoption details
We run by appointment, preferably all members of the household to come meet the animal you are wanting to adopt.
If you own another dog, you must bring them along to make sure all dogs get along.
As our goal is to adopt animals out from the shelter into loving homes as fast as possible, multiple bookings may be made for the same animal.
We are not able to hold any animals for any reason.
As such, there is a possibility that the animal you may have found a forever home before your appointment. If this is the case we will inform you by phone call as soon as possible.

Thurs- 1-4pm
Fri- 1-4pm
Sat- 9am-12:30pm - Dogs Only
Sun- CLOSED
