Lady is a stunning young girl with energy to burn, curiosity to spare and absolutely nothing bashful about her! If something is happening, Lady wants to know about it, investigate it and quite possibly get involved.
This clever girl needs a home that can provide plenty of mental and physical enrichment. Interactive toys, climbing opportunities, play sessions, puzzles and new things to explore will all help keep that busy mind and body occupied.
Lady is affectionate and loving, but we’ll admit her manners are still a work in progress! She likes having things her own way and can get a little carried away during play. She needs a confident, cat-savvy person who can continue teaching her boundaries and what is – and isn't – acceptable. The good news? Lady is a clever cookie who responds well to routine and is very capable of learning.
Because her enthusiasm for life can sometimes translate into rough play, Lady is best suited to a home without young children.
She may be happy to share her kingdom with another feline, but they’ll need to be confident and energetic enough to keep up with her. A quiet or senior cat looking for a peaceful retirement would definitely not appreciate Lady's particular brand of enthusiasm!
Lady isn't looking for someone who wants a quiet little couch ornament. She's looking for a person who will embrace her energy, challenge that clever mind and continue helping her become the fabulous, well-mannered young lady we know she can be.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
