About Johnny
Sweet, Gentle Boy Looking for a Patient Forever Home
This very sweet little boy is eager to please and loves learning. He is highly food motivated, making training a breeze, and he picks up new skills very quickly. While he can be a little lacking in confidence, with patience, encouragement, and a dedicated adopter, he is sure to continue blossoming into a wonderful companion.
He will need time to settle into his new home and family, and we recommend that his adopters are home with him during this adjustment period. Once he feels safe and secure, his happy and affectionate personality shines through.
He could live with older children aged 10 years and over, pending a successful meet and greet. He is generally gentle in his interactions and would make a lovely family companion. He must be allowed indoors, as this will help strengthen the bond with his new family and support his transition into home life.
Johnny is very social with other dogs and could possibly go home with a calm and social dog.
He has not been tested with cats.
His ideal home will provide structure, routine, and positive reinforcement to help set him up for success. Secure fencing is essential to keep him safe and give him the confidence to thrive. In return, you'll gain a loyal, loving companion who simply needs a little time and support to become his very best self.
