About Marshall
Marshall is a sweet, affectionate young lad.
He can be a bit worried in new or busy environments and when meeting new people. He will need a supportive and patient home that can take the time he needs to settle him into the home environment first before expanding his world and taking him for walks.
He is best suited to a laidback, calmer lifestyle, walks in quieter areas like bush walks and large open parks. Not suited to busy areas like dog parks, markets or cafes.
We recommend someone home more often than not for the first week or so to support settling him in.
Once he is comfortable, his cheeky playful side comes out. He loves chasing toys and bounding around with them in his mouth.
He is a smart boy who is eager to learn, he loves his food. We recommend feeding his meals out of enrichment items and activities.
He knows sit, he will likely pick up new cues and manners quickly with positive based training sessions.
Indoor/outdoor access, he wants to be where his people are. Enjoys laying at and/or on your feet with a toy between his paws.
Calm, older children in the home who can read and respond appropriately to dog body language. Must meet at time of adoption.
May do well with a social dog friend in the home. Can be a little unsure when meeting initially but warms up quickly and becomes very soft and wriggly. Must meet at time of adoption.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
