Jimothy

Jimothy is having a tough time adjusting to shelter life, but underneath all those nerves is a very sweet boy who is slowly starting to show himself. Right now, his first instinct is often to hide somewhere cosy and stay very still when things feel overwhelming. He may not come forward asking for affection just yet, but that doesn't mean he isn't enjoying it.

With time and gentle interactions, Jimothy has already started making some lovely progress. He's becoming more accepting of soft scratches and pats, and although he might simply sit quietly while you stroke his head, listen closely and you may hear a little purr. Those small moments tell us there's much more to Jimothy than the worried boy you might first see hiding beneath his blanket.

Jimothy would love a quiet, patient home where nobody expects too much from him too quickly. Give him a safe place to retreat, let him watch and learn that he's safe, and allow the relationship to develop at his pace. He may need someone willing to look beyond that first nervous impression, but we think this gentle boy deserves the chance to discover what it feels like to truly relax in a home.
