Meet Boof who is affectionately known as Boo.

Boo is a gorgeous, affectionate and playful boy who has been settling beautifully into foster care.
He is house trained, comfortable in his crate and loves being around his people. He enjoys a good sunbake, playing with his favourite ping pong balls and is always up for some cuddles.

Boo is an intelligent boy who is eager to learn. He already knows some basic commands, has good recall and responds really well to calm handling and positive reinforcement.
Boo’s current foster home has children under the age of 10, and he has been quite lovely with them. He hasn’t had any interaction with older children, so we’re unable to comment on how he would be with them.

When it comes to other dogs, Boo has shown no obvious reactivity in his current foster home. However, he did not get along well with the other male dog in his previous foster home and has shown that he can be selective when meeting other dogs. For this reason, any introductions will need to be handled carefully to make sure the dogs are a good match.

One thing his new family will also need to understand is that Boo can initially be wary of men. He may be unsure when first meeting a man, but with space, patience and no pressure, he settles and becomes a very affectionate and happy boy.

Boo is looking for a patient family who will allow him time to build trust and confidence rather than expecting everything to happen straight away.
He is a beautiful boy who really blossoms once he feels safe and comfortable. We’re looking for someone who will continue the positive work his foster family has started and give him the loving, stable home he deserves.
