Nickname: Grismo Grumblebum (when in a grumbly mood)

Nature
Gizmo exudes confidence in every whisker. This chatty kitty has a unique repertoire of meows and grumbles, and she’s always ready to strike up a conversation with her family.

She enjoys the company of older children and adults, gentle pats, and scratches behind her ears. Gizmo has a wonderful way of communicating her boundaries—she’ll let you know when she has had enough attention and needs some space.
She loves lap time and purrs contentedly, as long as she can leave when she chooses and being picked up or restrained is not her idea of fun.

Despite her assertive streak, Gizmo is affectionate and loving, especially first thing in the morning. She sleeps overnight in her cat bed, then climbs into bed for morning snuggles when her foster mum’s alarm goes off.

A devoted television fan, Gizmo loves sitting in front of the TV and eagerly tracking every movement and sound. Whether she is following characters across the screen or curled up in a cosy nearby spot, she likes to keep a watchful eye on the action—and the household.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Gizmo would do best with older children who know how to give her space and respect her boundaries.

Gizmo can be selective with other cats. She may grumble or growl at them, though she has also shown that she can get along with feline friends, a slow introduction is a must.

Based on limited interactions while safely in a carrier she was not a fan of dogs so would need a cat only home.

My PURR-fect home would be with an older family or couple who can give me the attention I crave while still giving me my independence to choose who to sit with and where.

A feline companion would be ok with slow introductions or I could be the only pet in the house.
