Meet Steve!
Steve was found at a colony where he was frightened and confused. It took us a few months to finally get him to safety, but as soon as he came into our care, it became very clear that this handsome boy was once very familiar with indoor life.
Steve is only around a year old and our vet believes Steve may have some pedigree ancestry, although we're not sure exactly what. With his striking golden-brown coat, beautiful markings, substantial build and gorgeous round face, there's certainly something rather special about this big boy! The vet sees loads of rescue cats but really fell for this one.
Steve weighs over 7kg, but he isn't overweight — he is simply a very large cat! 😻
These photos and videos were taken less than 48 hours after Steve came into our care, and you can already see how quickly he has settled back into home life. He seems genuinely relieved to be safe, comfortable and indoors again, and he is already proving to be an absolute expert at chilling out.
Steve is now ready for adoption. ❤️
He would be perfect for a home where he can be showered with love and affection — and we have no doubt this big boy will return every bit of that love right back.

Adoption details
All adult cat adoption costs cover microchipping, desexing, up to date vaccinations to time of adoption.
All cats over 6 months will have had a FIV test.
We offer a minimum two week trial on all cats.
We adopt cats to indoor only homes and will consider indoor/outdoor adoptions based on individual applications.
We ask interested adopters to please fill in a short application and attend a meet and greet before committing. We want to ensure the cat is the right fit for you.
