Hello, lovely humans. I’m Sun, a gentle little guy who may take some time to come out of his shell, but once I do, I’ll happily soak up your affection

Nature
I’m a more reserved kitty, so when I first arrive somewhere new, I’ll need some time, patience and a little space to settle in. I like to take things at my own pace and quietly observe my surroundings before deciding that everything is safe.

But once I’m comfortable and I’ve decided you’re one of my people, I’ll happily open up for pats and affection. I may not be the first kitty to run up and greet you, but give me time and I’ll show you just how sweet I can be. You’ll often find me perched somewhere up high, watching the world from my little lookout. I like having a safe space where I can relax and observe everything around me

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I’d prefer a home with older children who understand that I’m a quieter kitty and appreciate a calm, gentle approach.

I’m happy to share my home with another cat, but having a feline friend isn’t a necessity for me. If the right kitty came along, though, I’d happily share my sunny spot. Or if you’re looking for a brother-sister duo, I could even go home with my sister, Moon!

I haven’t been tested with dogs yet, so my feelings towards the canine kind remain unknown.

Likes / Dislikes
I like being up high where I can safely watch the world go by. I absolutely LOVE food, so a tasty snack might just help me decide that you’re pretty wonderful! I’m also a big fan of sunbathing because really, what better place for a boy named Sun to be? And once I’m comfortable, I really enjoy pats and affection from my humans.

I’m not a fan of being picked up but that doesn’t mean I don’t love you I just prefer affection with my paws firmly on the ground! Loud noises and sudden movements can make me nervous; I thrive in a calm environment.

My PURR-fect home would be a calm, quiet environment. I’d appreciate humans who understand that I need a little time to feel safe and confident. I'd happily be the only kitty in the house or being adopted with my sister Moon!

Medical Notes: Sun was exposed to Ringworm, which is a common fungal infection. He did not show symptoms and was given the all clear by the vet.
