About Carlos
Meet Carlos,
This lovely boy is a timid cat who will need a little time, patience and understanding as he settles into his new home. He may initially be unsure of his surroundings, so a gradual introduction and allowing him to explore at his own pace will be important in helping him feel safe and secure.
With gentle, positive interactions, tasty treats and plenty of reassurance, he will have the opportunity to build trust and confidence with his new family. As his confidence grows, he should become more comfortable and form a rewarding bond with those around him.
He is looking for a calm and understanding home with adults and secondary-aged children who can respect his space and allow him time to settle. A home that provides plenty of enrichment, play opportunities and places where he can retreat and feel safe would be ideal.
An indoor lifestyle is recommended to provide him with a secure environment where he can continue to build his confidence while being protected from the risks associated with outdoor living. With the right family, patience and positive encouragement, this gentle boy has the potential to blossom into a wonderful companion.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
