Athena

Athena is a beautiful 5 year old purebred White Shepherd.
She is Desexed, chipped and vaccinated.

Athena is extremely intelligent and her favourite thing is playing fetch.
She a dog that will want to be close to her person and will bond very strongly. She sleeps inside and will need to be a inside dog, as she chooses.
Athena is excellent around adults, chickens, cats and dogs. She has been around respectful children as well.

Athena was a rescue at about 1 year old, from a less-than-desirable situation where she was left in a crate all day while her owners were out. This left her with little leg muscle strength and she is sensitive on her back legs/paws.
Through a loving family home with a cat, dog, chickens and 3 kids for the last 4 years, she has been desensitised to that as much as possible, but it should be noted that for that reason, she may not be suited to a family with very young children that may startle her or accidently bump her legs – her reaction will be to howl or shrink away.
Athena is an excellent home dog who will not run away, even if the door is open.

Athena would best suit someone who can take her on plenty of walks, car rides, go paddleboarding (she is good at this), frolick near the water and get lots of attention.

She will also be totally fine with another dog or cat, (and will enjoy it) but won’t give them much attention – she is a dog who prefers human company and gentle play.

Athena, is a great watch dog. She will bark hello every single time you come home. She will bark hello to anyone coming to your home and she will let you know if there is a strange noise outside.

Athena is located in Logan Reserve for meet and greets.
