About Sally
Sally is a very loving little girl who is still learning to trust her humans. She may have received some mixed messages in her past, but she is discovering in her foster home that people can be kind and trustworthy. Despite looking like a Kelpie, Sally seems to have a little bit of couch potato mixed in! Her energy levels aren't quite what you might expect from a typical Kelpie, and she is just as happy enjoying some downtime and cuddles with her favourite humans She is working on her recall and learning that coming back to her people means good things.
Sally has met dogs of all sizes and genders without issue and is generally calm and disinterested when meeting them, although she will happily play with puppies. She has also been introduced to cats and farm animals including chickens, geese and sheep. She can currently be around them safely while supervised, but is still learning the rules and should not yet be trusted unsupervised with them.
Sally enjoys walks, swimming and cuddles, is good on lead, fully house trained and travels well in the car.
Sally can experience some separation anxiety but this is improving as she settles and becomes more confident, but she would ideally suit a home where she won't be left alone for long periods. She can also be a little jumpy around young children, so older children or adults may be best.
If you're looking for a smart, gentle and loving girl who is ready to learn what a happy life with her forever family looks like, Sally could be your special girl.
