💙 MEET BLUEY 💙
Bluey is a gorgeous Cattle Dog puppy looking for a family to call his own 🐾
For a Cattle Dog, Bluey is actually a pretty chill little guy! He is incredibly smart, loves learning and has a beautiful nature. He still has all the curiosity and fun you would expect from a puppy, but he isn't constantly bouncing off the walls 😂
Being a clever working breed, Bluey will need a home that understands that his brain needs exercise just as much as his little legs do. Training, enrichment, exploring new places and being included in family life will all help him grow into an amazing adult dog.
🐾 Like all puppies, Bluey will need continued training with:
✨ Toilet training
✨ Lead walking
✨ Basic commands and manners
✨ Appropriate chewing and mouthing
✨ Learning to settle and switch off
✨ Socialisation with different people, dogs, environments and experiences
✨ Being left alone for appropriate periods so he develops confidence and independence
Bluey is very smart, which makes him an absolute joy to train, but smart puppies also have a wonderful talent for inventing their own activities when they're bored 😂
Cattle Dogs are intelligent, loyal and active dogs, so we're looking for a family who wants Bluey to be part of their life and is prepared to continue putting time into his training as he grows.
He doesn't need someone running marathons with him every day. What he does need is appropriate exercise, mental stimulation, boundaries and people willing to teach him how to be the best boy he can be.
Bluey is a surprisingly chilled out little Cattle Dog with a very clever brain and so much potential. In the right home, we think he's going to grow into one seriously wonderful dog 💙🐾

*Please only apply if you reside 4hrs from Shepparton
* You will have a list of questions sent that you need to answer and send back.
* (For dog applications) Photos are requested of your yard, the fencing and any undercover shelter areas (patio/pergola) that must be sent through along with answers to questions.
* It’s not first in best dressed and we pride ourselves in finding the perfect family home for the animals in our care and make sure each family finds the perfect animal as well.
* We feed our cats on Lifewise, bags are available to buy from us.
* We also offer a 2 week trial on all animals that are adopted from this rescue organisation, if returned during this time a refund less 10% is given.
* Meet and greets are always taken prior to adoption, on the day if all goes well and you are happy, you can adopt on the spot and take your animal home to begin the next chapter together. We don't offer more than 1 meet and greet.
*All animals listed on our petrescue page are available for adoption until the moment they are removed
