🐶 Meet Tsuki

Tsuki is a roughly 7 month old calico, and the most gorgeous, friendly girl you will ever meet.

She made herself at home in foster care the moment she arrived, exploring every corner, demanding pats, and keeping a close eye on everything going on. She’s still as curious as ever, and always supervising whatever’s happening, including checking in on what you’re cooking (don’t worry, she’s all sniff and no steal).

She has a beautiful, super chill nature and loves a pat, including belly scratches. Her favourite thing in the world is being held like a baby, and she purrs the most when she’s getting carried around like this. As much as she loves being a part of the action, she knows when to take a break, usually with a nap on the lounge, under the bed, or in her carrier. She’s just as content home alone for the day, or with someone home with her. If you work from home, expect her parked on your desk directly in your line of sight demanding attention.

She’s slowly building comfortability with the harness and would do well with a family keen to keep working on that with her, gently and without rushing it. She needs time settling into new spaces and people, but it doesn’t take her long to be comfortable and adapt.

Tsuki is so far not a fan of other cats, so she will need to be the only feline in the house. She has shown a calm curiosity around dogs, and with a proper slow introduction she would likely settle in well with a relaxed, easy-going dog.

Given how tolerant and gentle she is, she would do well with kids who understand a cat needs her own space, but a loud, high-traffic household isn’t for her. She prefers calm and predictable, and if something isn’t to her liking, she won’t make a fuss, she’ll just quietly remove herself.

On the practical side, she’s a dream for nail trims and has been slowly working on learning some tricks (shake, and touch!). She’ll make good use of cardboard scratching blocks around the house, but don’t bother buying her a bed. She’s perfectly happy on the lounge, desk chair, or on a sunny patch of floor.

WHAT TSUKI NEEDS:
● Gentle, affectionate, endlessly curious
● Best suited to a calm, predictable household
● Only cat in the home, could suit a home with a relaxed, cat-friendly dog
● Needs a family willing to work on training and new experiences
● Suited to an apartment or house as inside only (excluding being outside on a harness)

She is in foster care in Islington, NSW, and she is available for interstate adoption. She has been desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
