Covo

Coyo is a gorgeous little Basenji who is easygoing, affectionate and intelligent.

He’s a very sweet and affectionate boy who loves being around his people. He’ll follow you around the house and, if you sit down, there’s a good chance he’ll decide your lap is the perfect place to be. He just likes being part of whatever is going on.

Coyo is currently living with a Greyhound and a Corgi x Whippet and gets along really well with both of them. He enjoys his walks and getting out to explore, although his curious Basenji nature means he likes to keep an eye on everything happening around him. And if you’re not familiar with Basenjis, they’re a pretty unique breed — they can’t bark like a typical dog, so Coyo is a very quiet little guy!

He’s surprisingly settled at home and is also quite happy being left alone while his people are at work. He’ll happily chill out until they come home.

Coyo is healthy, energetic and has plenty of life left in him. He seems much younger than his age and still loves getting out and about.

Really, Coyo isn’t asking for much. He wants people who will love him, include him and let him be part of the family. In return, you’ll get a very affectionate little companion with a lovely personality.

We think Coyo is pretty special and would love to see him find a family of his own.
