About Harry
🐾 Meet Harry 🐾
Harry is a beautiful, sweet Cavalier King Charles Spaniel × Poodle with the softest fur, the biggest love for his humans, and a personality that will keep you smiling every day.
Harry loves his humans more than anything! While he gets along well with other dogs, he would much rather be inside with his humans than spending his time outside with the pack. He absolutely loves snuggles and soft blankets, and when he gets comfortable, he curls up like a little baby joey in a pouch.
❤️ Harry's favourite things
He is incredibly affectionate and enjoys cuddles, scratches and pats. When you find just the right spot, he makes the cutest little grumbling noises to let you know how happy he is.
He is also:
🐾 A champion snuggler
🐾 Recently discovering the joy of playing with children
🐾 Great with other dogs
🐾 Very well behaved for the groomer (not particularly fond of having his toes handled!)
🐾 A good boy who sits nicely and waits for his treats
🐾 A huge fan of walks
Harry gets particularly excited when it's time for a walk — he will even find his collar and lead and bring them to you! He can pull on the lead when he's excited, so he will benefit from some continued lead training.
He also enjoys watching the world around him and can often be found keeping an eye on the koalas as they pass through the yard.
🍗 Important warning: Harry is a snack thief!
Harry has one very important hobby — stealing snacks!
If food is left unattended, Harry may see it as an opportunity. He can also be a little cheeky around the other dogs' food, so his new family will need to make sure snacks and meals are safely out of reach and that feeding is appropriately supervised.
🏡 What Harry needs in his forever home
Harry is a very loving dog who would thrive in a home where he can spend plenty of time with his people. He still needs some support with separation anxiety and would benefit from a patient family willing to continue helping him build confidence when left alone.
Medical 🏥
Harry has a urinary condition which results in some accidents in the house.
Managing Harry’s condition includes ensuring he continues to receive his appropriate veterinary-recommended medical diet. His new family should be prepared to continue following veterinary advice regarding his urinary health and dietary needs.
Harry is a sweet dog who is looking for a family who will adore him, help him feel safe and secure, and welcome him into their lives as a true member of the family.
His perfect home will be one where he can curl up under a soft blanket, snuggle close to his favourite humans, enjoy walks and playtime, and receive the patience and love he needs to continue growing in confidence.
