About Magpie
Meet Magpie
Magpie is a sweet, gentle soul who looks like he may have a few stories to tell. Life may not always have been easy for this handsome boy, but despite whatever his past may have held, he still has so much affection to give.
While in foster care, Magpie showed just how friendly and loving he can be. He happily soaked up all the pats on offer, was incredibly easy to medicate and would often come over to greet his foster family. Sometimes he preferred the comfort of his favourite armchair or top bunk, but he'd still stretch out his front paws to say hello from his cosy spot.
As Magpie began feeling better and growing more comfortable, his personality really started to shine. He became more interested in spending time with his people and would even be waiting at the door when mealtime rolled around!
Magpie is generally a chilled-out and affectionate boy, but there have been a couple of moments where he has become overwhelmed when his path to something important was blocked. Because of this, he'll need a cat-savvy home that can read his body language, respect his space and allow him to make his own choices.
Magpie has also tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). FIV-positive cats can still live happy and fulfilling lives, and Magpie certainly isn't letting it stop him from enjoying affection, comfy sleeping spots and all the good things in life.
With a little understanding and a comfortable place to call his own, Magpie has all the makings of a wonderful companion. This sweet boy deserves the chance to leave his past behind and enjoy the safe, happy and loved life ahead of him.
