Hi, I’m Scooby!

I’m a big, friendly Labrador who loves the simple things in life – having a good sniff around, spending time with my people, finding something tasty to enjoy and then having a well-earned snooze afterwards. I’m a big boy and generally walk quite nicely on lead, especially when I can take my time and sniff along the way. Sometimes my nose (or another dog!) takes me somewhere a little faster than expected, and I can put some strength behind me when I want to get somewhere. Because of this, I’m looking for someone with large dog experience who will be comfortable handling a big, strong Labrador like me. I can be a little enthusiastic and direct with my introductions, so not every dog may appreciate my Labrador-style approach to saying hello! If you already have a dog at home, I’ll need to meet all resident dogs before adoption  to make sure we’re a good fit. My previous life was mostly spent outdoors, and I haven’t quite learnt all the rules of house training yet. Because of this, I’m looking for a home with indoor and outdoor access and won’t be suitable for apartment living.

If you’re looking for a big, social Labrador who enjoys sniffy adventures, good company and plenty of time to relax afterwards, I might just be your guy!
