Hi, I’m Black Beauty! I’m a curious but slightly shy girl. I really like being around humans, although I can be a little nervous when it comes to being touched.

Nature
I’m still learning that people can be kind and gentle, so I need a little time and patience to feel completely comfortable. Once I get to know you, I hope to show you more of my sweet personality.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I haven’t met any dogs yet, and I don’t think I would be very comfortable living in a home with them, so a dog-free home would be best for me.

If there are other cats in my new home, I would need to meet them slowly and gently, with plenty of time to get used to each other. I think I would probably really enjoy having a friendly cat companion to keep me company.

I would be ok with calm, quiet and older children but some younger children are a bit much for me.

Likes / Dislikes
I love toys that I can play with all by myself, especially things that keep me entertained and let me be curious.

I’m not a fan of being rushed or having people try to touch me before I’m ready, so I would much rather take things slowly and get to know you in my own time.

My PURR-fect home is a place with gentle and understanding people who will respect my boundaries and give me the time I need to settle in. I’m looking for someone who understands that building trust takes patience and who will celebrate my little steps forward. If you can give me a safe, peaceful home and let me come out of my shell at my own pace, I could become a very special part of your family.
