🐾 Meet Mojo – A Big Boy with an Even Bigger Heart ❤️
Don’t let his size fool you — this gorgeous boy has the biggest heart and truly believes he is a lapdog! He is extremely affectionate, cuddly and loving, and absolutely adores being around his people.
Mojo LOVES human company and will often follow you around the house until he knows where you are going and where you will be. He is a wonderful companion who simply wants to be near his people.
He has shown no aggression at any time and is generally a very quiet boy. He rarely barks, with just the occasional little “woof” to let you know what he is thinking.
🧠 Mojo is very intelligent and learns quickly. He knows a number of basic commands, including sit, come, wait, no and shake hands.
He is also a very polite boy when it comes to mealtimes. He will automatically sit and offer his paw for a shake before eating, without being asked. It is one of his very sweet little habits!
He loves routine and is easy to settle once he knows what is expected of him. He thrives when he has a predictable routine, plenty of affection and time with his family.
Mojo absolutely loves going for walks and gets very excited when he realises it is time to head out. 🐕 In quiet areas, he is a relaxed walker who enjoys taking his time, stopping frequently to investigate all the interesting smells and, of course, leave his own little messages along the way! 😂 In busier areas, where there are more people and dogs around, he becomes much more alert and can be strong on the lead because he wants to say hello to everyone. He will need some continued lead training, but he has already shown that he is clever, willing to learn and responds well to guidance.
Because of his size and enthusiasm when playing, he would be best suited to a family with older teenagers. He absolutely loves people but doesn't always realise just how big he is when he gets excited and playful!
Mojo does not like cats, so he needs a cat-free home. If there are neighbouring cats, his new home will also need secure fencing of at least 1.6 metres.

Adoption details
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the Promising Paws Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal.
We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applications may meet the dogs. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the dog at your home or in a public place. If you have other animals they should please be at the meet.
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following: real estate approval, fence repair if needed, outside shelter areas and look into the dog's breed (e.g. size of dog, diet, temperament, exercise requirements).
Supporting documents required:
Real estate approval or proof of home ownership such as a rates notice;
Photos of your fence and current pets, if applicable.
The dog will be up to date with all vaccinations and worming as at the time of adoption. Any future vaccinations and preventatives will be at the adopter's expense.*
