About Murphy
Murphy is a big, beautiful gentle giant who absolutely loves people. He came into care with his good friend Mojo after they were surrendered to a pound and found themselves at risk of being put to sleep.
Thankfully, both boys made it safely into our care and have been nothing but happy, friendly souls. Murphy is super friendly with Mojo and appears to get along beautifully with other dogs.
He is a loving boy with so much happiness to share and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a big, affectionate best friend.
Murphy is playful, happy and loving. He has such a beautiful nature and is very easy to walk on the lead. Despite his size, he is gentle, affectionate and eager to be close to the people he loves. He enjoys attention, companionship and being included in family life, and his sweet nature makes him an absolute joy to spend time with.
Murphy would love a home where he can feel safe, secure and truly part of the family. He has so much love to give and is ready to bring plenty of happiness, loyalty and gentle companionship to his forever home. This beautiful boy has already been given a second chance, and now he is waiting for the loving family he deserves.

Adoption details
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the Promising Paws Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal.
We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applications may meet the dogs. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the dog at your home or in a public place. If you have other animals they should please be at the meet.
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following: real estate approval, fence repair if needed, outside shelter areas and look into the dog's breed (e.g. size of dog, diet, temperament, exercise requirements).
Supporting documents required:
Real estate approval or proof of home ownership such as a rates notice;
Photos of your fence and current pets, if applicable.
The dog will be up to date with all vaccinations and worming as at the time of adoption. Any future vaccinations and preventatives will be at the adopter's expense.*
