About Patch
Patch is a big, beautiful, gentle boy. Everyone who meets him falls in love; his striking colouring is a real eye-catcher, but it's his temperament that truly wins people over.
Patch is well-behaved, toilet trained and responsive to commands, both inside and out. At night, he settles happily in his own bed beside his carer's, no fuss at all.
Patch gets on great with other dogs and walks nicely on a lead, though he can pull when something exciting catches his eye — he settles back down quickly once the moment passes. Car rides are currently his one challenge; he can be a bit reluctant to hop in, but once he connects car trips with fun outings, this is expected to improve with time.
And of course, Patch loves his food!
While he hasn't yet had the chance to meet young children, his gentle, sweet-natured personality gives us every confidence he'll be a wonderful, patient companion for a family with kids.
Patch will be ready to adopt as of 12th September and is waiting to bring his big heart to his forever home.

ADOPTION NOTES
Our adoption process for the successful applicant includes a meet and greet, (including your own dog if applicable), a home check (or photos/video of your yard and fencing to be supplied to us if not local), and a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home.
All adoption fees must be deposited into the Second Tale Animal Rescue (STAR) bank account in full before adoption trial starts, and please note, we cannot accept cash. The Adoption Agreement will be emailed to the selected applicant in advance of meeting your chosen dog.
