Monkey

Meet Monkey, a curious little pigeon who has settled beautifully into indoor life and loves being part of the household.

Outside of his cage is where his personality really shines. Monkey is a big fan of shoulder time and will happily cling onto your hoodie while you potter around the house, content to come along for the ride.

Monkey enjoys being around people and watching whatever is happening in the household, making him well suited to an indoor home where he can continue to be included in everyday life. He’s also very good at letting you know when socialising is over; once he’s had enough exploring, he’ll head back into his cage by himself for some downtime. He’s serious about his beauty sleep too, enjoying a good sleep-in and usually being quite happy to call it an early night.

Monkey has been making good progress with the verbal commands “step up” and “come”. Monkey has taken to training particularly well, and will benefit from someone happy to continue building his trust and reinforcing his training at his own pace.
