Meet Sonya,
A mild-mannered madam with a big brain, a big heart, and an even bigger appetite.
She craves attention, affection, and all of your time. A softie through and through, happiest when she's with her people and included in whatever is going on. A true Velcro dog, she'll happily stick by your side, because really, is it really worth doing if its not being supervised by Sonya?
She's clever, affectionate, and very food motivated, so expect her to be keeping a close eye Onya at all times.
A typical Staffy, Sonya brings the perfect mix of boisterous, bubbly fun and loving, loyal lapdog. She's got plenty of personality and a big zest for life, but at heart, she's a total softie.
Sonya would be best as the only dog in the home. She's manageable around other dogs but has little interest in interacting with them. She's a lover, not a player & would much rather spend her time soaking up affection from her humans.
If you're looking for a devoted companion who wants to be your shadow, your snuggle buddy, and your biggest fan then we have a beautiful girl who can't wait to get her paws Onya!

• All adoptions must go through our Council website - so head over there!
• Search for the animal you are interested in by typing their name or impound number in the search bar
• Read through their profile & click the red button which says 'Submit an Expression of Interest'
• Next, we'll reach out to you
• If all goes well, we'll discuss the next steps and a meet & greet!
With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
The adoption fee for dogs covers C5 vaccination, health check, heartworm testing, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
The adoption fee for cats covers F3 vaccination, health check, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
