About Cheese
Cheese is a sweet young boy who is still learning that the world can be a safe and wonderful place. He is a shy little guy and may take some time to come out of his shell, but with patience, gentle interactions and plenty of time to settle in, his true personality will begin to shine.
Cheese needs an experienced person who understands that trust isn't built overnight. He will need to be allowed to approach on his own terms and someone who is happy to let him set the pace as he grows in confidence.
An important part of Cheese's journey will be having a confident, friendly role-model cat in his new home. Living alongside another feline friend will help Cheese learn from them, feel more secure and build his confidence at his own pace.
Cheese is looking for a calm, patient and understanding home where he can settle in gradually blossom into the wonderful cat we know he can be.
If you're looking for a little guy who may need some extra patience at first, but whose progress will make every milestone that much more special, Cheese could be your perfect match.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Burwood East site, adoption hours are 10am – 4pm. Walk-ins are welcome, and you can freely walk through our dog, cat and small animal adoption areas.
